designjunction delight

With over 30 new rugs, including our highest ever knot quality, and awards from Elle Decoration, Archiproducts and Design Geekery for our stand, designjunction really was rather special for us this year.

In its new King's Cross venue, designjunction upped its game this year and so did we, presenting over 30 hot new rugs, many of which were unveiled for the first time. Alongside our recent collaboration with Camille Walala and the striking Northmore by Flock, we showcased new creations from Laura Spring, Kangan Arora, A Rum Fellow and Etoile Home, as well as the first of our F_S Collection in Birds. The stand really did look special and it seems we weren't the only ones that thought it looked ace either, with Elle Decoration, Architronic and Design Geekery showering it with praise.

The show also saw us unveil Roses, one of the designs from our 2LG x FLOOR_STORY capsule collection with the 2 Lovely Gays. Our highest ever quality, the 150-knot rug arrived just in time and Jordan and Russell popped along to check it out.

The quality of Roses really is something else and it feels just like velvet. Hand-knotted from New Zealand wool and pure Chinese silk, the design took nearly a year to perfect and we are absolutely delighted with the result. It joins the equally impressive Moire and Embossed for a Designer Collection that looks set for big things.

We enjoyed a fab response to our new introductions at this year's designjunction and it was great to tell people of our mission to bring beautiful rugs that are truly unique. We're already planning what we can cook up for next year!
