The collective have explored rug-designing “by translating the city’s urban fabric into a literal fabric” which invites us to reflect upon belonging, memory and the formation of spaces.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe POWER rug design unites elements found in iconic London tower blocks, drawing particularly on the horizontal and vertical deck-access architectural features in West London’s Trellick Tower. Special attention was made to the banding width, finding that balance was key to the symmetry within the graphic elements of the rug, reflecting contemporary expression and historical architectural language.
