Designed by Venezuelan born Adrianna Jaroslavsky for the in-house FLOOR_STORY collection
This rug focuses on Venezuela's El Avila mountain that sees its capital, Caracas, nest in a valley. Recording a macro-element of its geographical lines in an incredible, hand-knotted feast of graduating colour, hand-carved texture and bamboo silk (viscose) and wool blends; Topography has explored the depths of rug craft and the results are extraordinary.
Labour intensive and painstaking, hand-knotting is the most traditional way of making and creates rugs of exceptional quality and longevity. Perfect for fine work and intricate patterns, a hand-knotted rug really is the don. Our hand-knotted styles range in density from 60-knots per inch right up to 150-knots for incredibly fine, velvet-like softness.
