The artwork I’ve created incorporates my signature pink, a nod to the swinging 60s

Zandra Rhodes x Seven Dials
Home to the first studio of Dame Zandra Rhodes in the 1960s, the Seven Dials district is now adorned with some of her iconic patterns, seen for the first time on London streets.
Just like her rugs for FLOOR_STORY, Zandra's designs for the street art of Seven Dials capture her unmistakable style that has seen her prints worn by everyone from Princess Diana to Freddie Mercury and Cher.
In fact, some of these designs were originally created in the 60s as patterns for dresses, and others were used as patches on leather jackets. This will be the first time that these vivid designs will be displayed as artwork on streets in London.

The exclusive designs celebrate the community, inspired by some of our visitors quotes about their favourite things about London's Seven Dials area. Anyone visiting can get up close to the vibrant, colourful designs by the one and only Dame Zandra Rhodes’ as you walk through the seven streets.

Dame Zandra Rhodes says on the project, 'The artwork I’ve created incorporates my signature pink colourways, a nod to the swinging 60s which reflects my time in the area and some fantastic quotes from the Seven Dials community. I can’t wait for it to be unveiled and for everyone to see it!'
