What makes the new Pink Noise rug just so god damn textural? Take a gander at these work in progress images to get the low down on what makes a mighty fine hand knotted rug:
Woven with precision, wool yarn is knotted around a cotton warp, line by line.
After the rug comes off the loom, it's then washed rigorously to get rid of any excess fibres and dust.
Sections are then carved to give alternating depth to enhance the shapes in the design of the rug.
The entire rug goes through a quality control, ensuring that the yarns are all equal to give an even finish.
