Discovering the unusual and unique is something we love at FLOOR_STORY and at times we’ve even been commissioned by customers to travel the globe to find a rug that fits their home to perfection, a 'no compromise' approach to rug shopping if ever there was one.

In fact, it has become something of a personal quest of Simon to travel the rug making hearts of our world, seeking out rugs that bring a unique narrative and which just simply aren’t found elsewhere on these shores. We are now bringing you these wonderful discoveries in FLOOR_STORY Collection, exclusive rugs that celebrate the pattern, texture and colour of cultures far and wide. Simon works closely with the makers behind his discoveries, sometimes simply tweaking coloursand at other times reworking the design to create a rug faithful to the original, but with a signature feel perfect for FLOOR_STORY Collection. Of course, each rug meets our usual high standards, handmade in only the finest wool or natural fibres for a rug of exceptional quality. Rug Care Guide

To keep your rugs looking their best, it’s important to properly care for them. Here are some tips to help you maintain the quality and longevity of your rugs:

1. Vacuum regularly - this will prevent dirt and dust from building up in the fibers of the rug.

2. Spot clean spills immediately - use a clean cloth or paper towel to blot up any spills before they have a chance to set into the rug.

3. Rotate periodically - this will help prevent one area of the rug from wearing out faster than others.

4. Use a good quality rug underlay - not only will this provide extra cushioning and grip for your rug, but it also helps protect your floors from scratches and damage.
