Play around with the size of existing designs (if there are multiple custom sections, they are based on different constructions for tufted, hand knotted and hand woven)

A PDF render (digital copy of the design) will be sent to you to sign off before the rug is put into production.

Custom rugs have a lead time of 12-18 weeks (depending on construction). You will receive a more precise lead time once we receive the details of your order.

UK tracked shipping is £25 per rug, for international shipping you will be quoted accordingly at the checkout.

You will see options for standard sizes along with our custom calculator where you can insert a specific size you would like the rug in. Please note for circular rugs the length and width will need to be the same measurement.

The Allotment collection by Gill Thorpe holds a range of floral styles in varying scales and compositions, available in either a short or shaggy pile. With repeat, medallion, and quad motifs in various colourways and compositions, there’s something to suit every scheme.
Surface designer Gill Thorpe has designed a series of contemporary, vintage-style rugs inspired by traditional motifs but brought into a modern context with vibrant colour combinations. Each rug is made using traditional hand-knot techniques and handcrafted by weavers based in Afghanistan. Woven with high-quality Ghazni wool, a regional wool known for its curled texture, the rugs feature a grainy effect when dyed, adding a distinct character to the weave.
These handmade rugs work beautifully in living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens alike and are designed to last. Hand-knot rugs can last for generations when properly cared for. Their timeless designs make any space feel both contemporary and classic, an investment piece that brings a feeling of total luxury underfoot.

Hand Knotted
Labour intensive and painstaking, hand-knotting is the most traditional way of making and creates rugs of exceptional quality and longevity. Perfect for fine work and intricate patterns, a hand-knotted rug really is the don. Our hand-knotted styles range in density from 60-knots per inch right up to 150-knots for incredibly fine, velvet-like softness.
