Traditional handmade rug techniques used for contemporary rug design

Based on the lyrics from the Lovebirds track this unique, one-off design was made for client Simon Dunmore, founder of Defected Records, who needed something cool and cosy for his home.

This custom 'I Want You In My Soul rug' was produced from the original I Feel Love rug design, made in collaboration with Henry Holland. This version sees tonal greens spill onto Dunmore's concrete floor of the master bedroom.

Fair trade assured by Label STEP, we work with only the most ethical weaving centres to create rugs of exquisite quality. Using top quality wool, the weavers dye, weave, wash and hand-finish the rug with a meticulous attention-to-detail. The high quality outcome is only possible because of the craftspeople's experience and training in rug-making.
