Our roving creative, Adriana, has just got back from the south coast, after shooting our rugs on location at the Crow's Nest. Shortlisted in the Small Home category of the Sunday Times British Homes Awards, this amazing house proved a stunning backdrop for some of our freshest designs.

Designed by AR Design Studio, a RIBA award winning practice established by Andy Ramus, The Crow's Nest is a stunning cliff-top home based on a floating structural frame. An incredible feet of architectural thinking and precision engineering, the home brings a playful and calm space for its owners and certainly one that blew Adriana away. Apparently the judges of the Sunday Times British Homes Awards think the same!

Teaming up with every designer/maker's favourite photographer, Yeshen Venema, Adriana has found new context for designs fresh from our artisan weavers, using the stunning coastal location and a bit of fabulous British sunshine to capture the rich colour and incredible quality of these new FLOOR_STORY creations. Whether vivid ocean blues or subtle vintage overdyed, everything just seemed to work. We're pretty sure this is testament to the majestic architecture of The Crow's Nest and our eye for a good rug! Enjoy these behind the scenes teaser shots and look out for the rugs and finished images making their first appearance on the website very soon.
