London Design Fair

London Design Fair

So far it’s been an incredible year for launches and our stand at London Design Fair showcased works from the amazing Dame Zandra Rhodes, Eley Kishimoto, Studio Emdal, Josephine Ford, Catherine MacGruer and our showroom partners, KENT & LONDON.

Following hot on the heels of Fashion Week, the London Design Festival is the capital’s biggest showcase of design talent and features exhibitions and pop-up events from established brands and rising stars. This year, FLOOR_STORY moved to the London Design Fair after a successful three years at designjunction, upping our game with our biggest ever stand.

With so many new rugs on show, one of the biggest challenges came in just how to display them so they could be fully appreciated. After all, with works from Dame Zandra Rhodes, Eley Kishomoto, Josephine Ford, Catherine MacGruer, Emdal Studio and KENT & LONDON, as well as our first in-house designs; there were some truly exquisite creations worthy of dedicated space. So, our stand was transformed into a gallery of rugs, beautiful hand-knotted and hand-tufted rugs made from wool and silk proudly display on the walls for an immersive experience.

The show was a huge success and Dame Zandra even made a personal appearance to see her collection for the first time. It's always a lot of fun being involved in London Design Festival as there's such a great buzz and a real feeling of our status as one of the world's greatest design cities. This year, our stand was busier than ever with friends and lots of brand new faces paying us a visit. We're officially declaring it a success and are already planning for next year with some hot new collaborations.
