We talk to designer Gill Thorpe on the inclusion of peach in her latest rug launches and why she was drawn to using them within her designs.

‘I was really drawn to the way that it opened up the palettes, making them feel more light-hearted and playful. Traditionally, the undertone of many rugs is a more neutral beige or yellow hue, so I wanted to explore some designs in a contemporary version of this with an uplifting peachy mood. I felt that it would make rugs, especially those in a two-toned palette, more elevated and exciting.’

Peach in its various shades, has heaps to offer interior spaces, whether leaning towards a neon-orange hue or a softer pastel pink tone, the colour can create a refreshing and welcoming mood with a contemporary edge. The trick is in finding the balance of colour and texture.

On that note, here’s a range of our rugs that include this hue of Peach Fuzz, take your pick!
